An average person speaks approximate 15,000 words per day, but did you know most of one's sentiments and thoughts are conveyed through non-verbal body language signs? Some may call it skullduggery, but people do let others know what they are feeling through gestures and poses without even being aware of. Surmounting the skill of body language can discover and metamorphose people's perception for you. Pull up your socks, and get mentally ready. Prepare to be stunned with these body language signs that can make you a smarter talker.
1. For your eyes only
Eyes aren't just a feature of face; they're the boldest body language signs. The first sign in Lying Rulebook is cracked eye-contact. However, it's important to value the direction of the eyes. If someone looks up and left while talking, then there is something fishy. Looking left means thinking right side of brain which is “creative” and possibly well at work! If someone is looking up and to the right, the story might be trustworthy because that's the “memory” half of the brain. A typical left-handed person would have the opposite meanings for their eye-directions.
2. Glasses Gimmicks
When conversing, eyes are the focus area, with or without glasses on. However, glasses play an important prop in non-verbal communications. For example, playing with your glasses can be seen as a nervous conking tactic. Adjusting your glasses shows keenness because it sharpens your view. Also, if someone puts them away in the middle of talking, get alarmed. This shows he or she is done talking and is tired of seeing you. Who knew frames could be so saucy!
3. Talking feet
Interestingly, feet talk loud about the object of one's attention. Next time you're in an uncomfortable situation, notice your position, probabilities are the legs are facing the nearest exist. But if you're speaking to someone, and his or her feet are angled away—change your agenda, because it's just not interesting enough.
